The campus bustled with kems of all ages going in and out of various buildings

While you did your best to follow the map given to you, you still couldnt seem to make out where this hall was located at. You stopped to ask a few kematas passing by if they knew but you had gotten like four different directions all of which have been wrong.  A sigh escaped your lips as you made your way to the heart of the campus, a water fountain splashed in a mesmerizing way. Taking a seat at the fountain you sigh once more. A dark blue kemata passed  by you but suddenly stumbled to the ground, you look down at him and ask him if hes alright and a snarl brusts from his chest, "Your BAG tripped me! How inconsiderite can you be?" the kem raised back to its feet and stood over you, making you feel small as the heat of his rage could be felt. "I'm sorry! I was just trying to find the Sorcerer's hall and I was just trying to take a break. Plus I don't know anyone who would walk this close to a water fountain..." Your voice trailed as you looked away from him. He suddenly grew silent and flicked his tails, "Come" you flicked your ear, "excuse me?" A flock of younger kems ran up to the blue kem, excited to see him. "Professor Ventrus! You're about to be late to class." He stared down at the kems and looked back at you, "Well you're about to be late to class too kid, lets get going before I lose my cool again." You follow after wards, finally finding the Sorcerer's Study hall!

Grand Sorcerer Ventrus
Name: Ventrus
Gender: Male
Height: 112 cm

Bad attitude, hot headed and doesn’t hold back. Many refer to him as a short fused dragon. He’s quick to offend and often wears a scowl on his face. His goal in life is to be the strongest kemata on Val Shenn. He's motivated to become an even greater sorcerer than the class' predecessor, his father, who doesn't recognize the lengths Ventrus took to become the class leader. He listens to the rain because it drowns out his thoughts.

HOW WILL YOU PROVE YOURSELF?

Ventrus challenges you to prove yourself as the Guardian you claim to be! In order to prove your worth you must select 3 out of the 10 prompts listed below:

Prompt 1:
Somehow, you were drawn to this class in particular. It felt like it was a reflection of your inner core and you were convinced it will be your life’s work to pursue this class. How did you happen to join this class?

Prompt 2:
Malice and pain is the core of the Sorcerer Class, so it’s easily misunderstood that all Sorcerers are evil until proven guilty. Exercise your poise as a dignified individual, if you are one...

Prompt 3:

A class peer appears to be having trouble with honing their abilities. You decided to help your fellow peer and motivate them. How do you help them?

Prompt 4:
Being a sorcerer can be taxing on the mind and soul with all the pain and suffering, so it’s nice to go out every now and again. Maybe pick up some trinkets or treasures to better spruce up your place? Perhaps something that matches your class?

Prompt 5:
Your friends are a bit confused at what you do for your faction. They haven't settled on what to pick for their class of magic, so they're looking to you for advice; show off your skills in the class you picked to help them decide!

Prompt 6:
Ventrus has always worn a scowl and puts up a sour attitude, but today in particular he seemed off. He wasn’t loud or defensive like he normally was whenever Percy would take a jab at him, so you decided to approach him. Ventrus gave you a cold stare and turned away from you. He wasn’t in the mood, but how can anyone learn to throw sick magic tricks that damage things with their class master in a rut? Do your best to make him smile.

Prompt 7:
The National World Wide Sorcerers Association is hosting a strength competition to see who is in fact the best sorcerer in all of Val Shenn. Ventrus doesn’t hesitate to sign up of course, but you clearly see his legs jiggle with anxiousness. “I will be the best that no one ever was…even if he doesn’t think so.” His eyes sunk low with his shoulders. He began to doubt himself. How can you help him regain his confidence?

Prompt 8:
Kematas are crowded around in a dank and dark abandoned sewer. The moistened mossy walls echo with cheers and jeers paired with a kem who’s beatboxing in the midst of them all. Ventrus was spitting bars in a heated rap battle. His voice spiked whenever he really wanted to emphasize the point in his sick rhymes. On the receiving end of it all was you. Every kem immediately was cheering for Ventrus when he dropped the microphone. Do you pick it up and respond? You might win some mad respect.

Prompt 9:
The cloudy skies tinted the class halls with a neutral gray as you went to see Ventrus for your next lesson. As you come closer to his room, you hear, “And you’ll never be enough.” with someone who you thought was Ventrus leaving their room. You only saw a quick glimpse of their grayed face, almost like an older Ventrus; his father maybe? Ventrus stood by his desk with his face covered by his bangs. Thunder broke the silence and soon followed by rain. “Is that it?” Ventrus spoke up, “You won’t accept me as your son because I’m not good enough?” He sunk his head lower and tears began to run down his muzzle. “Am I...Will I ever be enough for anyone?” He dug his claws into the floor and his shoulders tensed up as he leaned over his desk. What should you do?

Prompt 10:
Days have passed since Ventrus has invited you to help find an ancient artifact said to enhance the abilities of a sorcerer by ten fold. Nine days to be exact, drudging through sand and mud; rain and forests. This journey has led you both to a mountainside with a cascading waterfall that drains into the seaside that smashes against the mountain in heavy waves. Your paws just barely meet the edge of the cliffside path that finally meets with a temple which rests within a cavern hidden in the mountain. The sheer marvel of the temple was missed by Ventrus’ desire for power as he marched forward into it. Just as you two enter the temple a voice echoed in the air, “In exchange for power must be wrought. The seeker’s soul shall be brought.” Ventrus stopped before the stoop that presented the artifact on a pedestal. Only a few feet away, Ventrus could foresee the power his prize could reward him. He steps forward without a second thought, casting aside any reason that would have stopped him from trading his soul for power. Why did he bring you here? Maybe it was a call for help?
