Large golden doors tower above you...

How did you end up in this place..? That damn billboard said this place would build your confidence 10 fold! Your belief that you were somewhat of a confident kemata is probably what brought you here. Beautiful girls clad in cosplay and handsome guys outfitted in luxurious tuxedos trot past you. Their auras are jam packed with confidence as they pace their way about the escort services building. The walls were draped with elegant red curtains and red leather chairs dotted the large floor plan. Black tiles and carpets filled the floors as you stood in place, your body pressed against a wall.

A Kemata with a bushy heart curled tail noticed your awkward presence across the walkway and made his way towards you, “charming presentation.” He winked at you and slipped a rose out from his overcoat, handing it to you.

“You know, we get shy little Kematas like you in here on a daily basis. Kematas who are too afraid to take a walk on the wild side of things, who only want to play it safe.” He paces around you, slipping between you and the wall, using his tail to push you forward as he continues his banter. “But hey, little love, don’t be shy. It’ll be fine, you’ve got the Great Tadano here to keep you company. You know, they say that my love is the best kind~.” You grimace at the sudden infiltration of your personal space and the assault of flirty words and step back slightly. “Oh, come now, how will you ever become a charming kemata if you can’t handle a little play on words?”

He convinces you to take a seat and smiles with a glint. “This is my escort service, The Golden Flibb. Why that name you ask? Our most popular escort is that flibb, right over there.” You follow the point of his finger and sure enough, a golden flibb sits atop a throne, with several kematas in line to spend even 10 minutes with the flibb as it takes it a bite of its wagyu steak, listening to its current customer go on about their day. Your face paints your disturbance as Tadano continues. “A true star, none have come close to his numbers. So you’ve seen our billboard, correct? About how we turn shy kematas into dazzling, one of a kind, master charmers?” You reluctantly nod your head and swallow hard. “Well here is a little secret, just for you. I’m the master of Charm Magic, and I like to give my teachings to those I see fit. So, little kitty, want to join in on the fun?”

Quick witted, charismatic and sharp tongued. He is quick to point out anything and everything he sees on any given kemata, almost like he can tell their life story just by glancing at them. HOW WILL YOU PROVE YOURSELF?

Tadano challenges you to prove yourself in mastering the art of Charm Magic! In order to prove your worth you must select 3 out of the 10 prompts listed below:

Prompt 1:
You’re left in front of Tadano’ ex-girlfriend’s house on a mission to charm her into giving you 3 million opals to help get one of Light City’s newest investors out of debt. Tadano says it might be Zeke’s fault, the master of wealth magic. A young, slender kem with pink to gold braided long hair, peach tinted silky long fur on her wrists and a coiled maiden tail opens the large double doors and looks at you with her golden, judgemental eyes. Tadano’s voice echoes in your head, “Be the sharpest, nicest, sleaziest, gentlekem you can be…”. Charm the opals off of her.

Prompt 2:
You noticed Tadano was unusually mopey today, as if all of the sass was drained out of him. He was slouched over a chair at a table with a loose straw in his mouth. He didn't even finish his favorite bobba??? Across the table you see a mirror propped up with Tadano's reflection. Maybe he wasn't feeling himself today? Maybe he needs some good ol charming! Go charm the pants-..funk out of him!

Prompt 3:

A Golden Sabertooth is giving Griff a hard time and not listening. The only thing she'll respond to is a charming attitude. win this big beastie over with your best smile

Prompt 4:
You were on your way to meet Tadano at a tea shop when you heard a loud ruckus coming from inside the shop. You poked your head in to see Percy giving Tadano a hard time about stealing some date from him. This clearly made Tadano’s new girlfriend uncomfortable, so the Shop Owner tried defusing the situation, but he only yelled louder which made the pair even more uncomfortable. Let alone the whole restaurant. Swoop in and save the shop from the tyrant! Try charming him into leaving or get him some drinks!

Prompt 5:
For quite some time, kems have been using a particular bridge for traveling and trade, but the age really shows when some carts and kems trip or fumble whenever they hit a bump or pothole. Every now and again, Tadano would use this bridge, and would see a lonely old kem trying to patch pieces of the bridge. Until one day he noticed a group of merchants walked into the patch of cement the old kem was working on and just flung the cement off their paw and onto the old kem’s face. Tadano immediately pulled that merchant by their ear aside and said, “I’ve seen what you just did. You're just gonna walk all over this kem’s work and throw it back in his face??” The Rude Kem was so taken back, “I, um…”
“Do you know how long this kem has been working to make sure a scobberlotcher like you can make it across safely?”
“Look man, I didn’t even see him-” Tadano shoved a trowel in the kem’s face. “Now you go back there and fix your mistake!” The kem didn’t question anything and just went to it. Tadano faced his merchant peers, “AND YOU LOT! Don’t just stand there, get to it!” They all tensed up and hustled to work. Charm some more kem into fixing the bridge!

Prompt 6:
“Don’t you touch me! And look away from me when you're speaking up to me you filthy-” An ugly snob of a kem shooed away an unfortunate kem in need when they tried asking for money. You and Tadano looked over in horror. “Why don't you try and work for it?” The snob sneered and hovered a paw full of opals over the unfortunate kem’s head. Passerbyers didn’t speak up nor took action against the snob’s public display of shame, just glanced by and kept walking. Tadano’s eyes were ablaze with hate as he looked to you, “Let’s show this guy some reverse generosity…” Tadano suggested. Show that snob how it feels to be less fortunate. Convince the snob of everything they own!

Prompt 7:
You can’t help being one of the most charismatic Kemata around. I mean, you’re the full package. Attractive, nice, and, well… you owe it a bit to your magic. Of course, being this charming can result in other happenings other than discounts and new friends. Depict your Kemata being volunteered for something they don’t really want to do-- a leadership role, tutoring someone, watching over some kits, etc.

Prompt 8:
You're super excited to check out your groceries-- there was a huge flash sale on a bunch of stuff you needed to create your favorite dish! You had created plans and sent out invitations to all of your friends to invite them over this weekend to enjoy it. However, once the cashier rings up the total, you realize that the total was much higher than you calculated. When you mention the sale, the cashier informs you that the flash sale ended half an hour ago. Uh oh... you don't have enough money for all of this food, and you can't just cancel your plans. Perhaps... you charm the cashier? It was only half an hour, after all!

Prompt 9:
When other Kemata hear of your magic, they throw you a cautious glance. To be able to enchant someone and get discounts at vendors... isn't that kind of.. manipulative? Of course, you try not to care too much. If you had to, you could charm them into liking you. But... that isn't real. Depict your Kemata trying to charm these wary Kemata into friends-- the natural way!

Prompt 10:
Just because you can charm Kemata and monsters alike doesn't mean you can take the easy way out all the time. Depict your Kemata when their smooth talking and charming attempts fail. How do they get out of their mess without relying on their magic?
