Broken Chains

The outer wall crumbled as you walked past, around you several trees appeared broken by something...or someone?
The building just ahead of you was so decrepit that you wondered if it should even be legally allowed to stand any longer. The air around you seemed thick as there were barely any trees standing, as a good 90% of the trees appeared to have been knocked down by something rather large. It sent shivers down your spine but you weren't about to show your fear! You paced foward, knocking on the large wooden double doors. The doors burst open and a gigantic kemata double your size sneered down at you. "Can I help you, trespasser?" You stammered at the sight of the Behemoth towering above you. Another kemata stepped next to the monsterious kem, "Sir I believe that kem there is one of our new recruits." A low growl rumbled in the throat of the large kem, "I would have gotten a letter about it or some kind of notification, sorry kid, you've walked up to the wrong guild door!" His sabers shined faintly in the dusty moonlight, you clenched your body as you tried to stand tall and show no fear, praying to whichever god you followed to look after you in the afterlife. "-Sir, it's right here, on the table where you put your keys..." He stopped mid bite and his mood changed instantly, "My bad! My name is Goliath, I hope you're big and powerful, we like to get swoll here!" He flexed his forearms. "If you're wondering about them trees out there, thats how I train!" What could you really say or do at this point? You walk in.

Ultra Chief Goliath

Master Barbarian
Name: Goliath
Nicknames: Coconut Head Ass, Rock for Brains
Subspecies: Behemoth
Gender: Male
Height: 162 cm

A kem so dense with muscle that his heavy paws push the trees out from the earth as he parkours off of them. Even though he's incredibly strong, he isn't incredibly bright. Goliath needs a few more seconds than most kematas to solve even some basic life problems. So, good luck trying to ask for directions. He's very critical and harsh towards kems that are very emotional.

HOW WILL YOU PROVE YOURSELF?

Goliath challenges you to prove yourself as the Barbarian you claim to be! In order to prove your worth you must select 3 out of the 10 prompts listed below:

Prompt 1:
Somehow, you were drawn to this class in particular. It felt like it was a reflection of your inner core and you were convinced it will be your life’s work to pursue this class. How did you happen to join this class?

Prompt 2:
A class peer appears to be having trouble with honing their abilities. You decided to help your fellow student and motivate them. How do you help them?

Prompt 3:

Your friends are a bit confused at what you do for your faction. They haven't settled on what to pick for their class, so they're looking to you for advice; show off your skills in the class you picked to help them decide!

Prompt 4:
Brash, ruthless and indomitable, Barbarians are the brawn of Rex Bellum. How tough are you to be considered a Barbarian?

Prompt 5:
There’s a group of Lux Concord kems surrounding your guild mate, about to lunge for an attack. Your guild mate is on their last paw, struggling to stand up against the opposing faction. Show Lux Concord the raw strength of the Barbarian Class.

Prompt 6:
Goliath challenges you to test your skills by proving your worth in the Totally Awesome and Legit Test of Strength. Goliath sits you down in a room with a single TV sitting in the center of it and a few chairs sprinkled in front. The lights cut to darkness and Goliath fumbles around with the DVD player sitting next to the TV. It takes him a bit longer to get things ready. A little a lot longer. Almost. Ok, the movie is up with the title finally showing on screen, “The Iron Behemoth” with a crudely 3D designed grey robotic kemata flying into space like a superhero. “Only true manly kems can sit through these sappy movies without crying! If you cry, you only show how WEAK you are!” Sit through this sad film without crying.

Prompt 7:
The moon shines down on the forest, giving light to the cold fog that cuts between the trees as you and Goliath run through it all. The mist from your breath breaks away at the sheer speed you guys were reaching until a clearing was made available for you two to stop in. Tail to tail, you both stood there surrounded by what was chasing you. A hoard of monsters. They encroach slowly, their teeth and claws ready to tear into your flesh. "Alright newbie, you ready to win? Just do what I do and you'll future will be paved with victory." You can feel the deep growls coming from Goliath's throat reverberating through the air. As a symbol of power, a Barbarian, defeat as many monsters as possible.

Prompt 8:
The snapping of tree roots uplifting from the earth can be heard throughout the forest as Goliath effortlessly parkours off trees. His massive and dense paws force an impression onto trunks as he pushes off towards the next tree. You're doing your best to keep up, but his speed and strength is difficult to match because of his physique. "C'mon newbie, if you can't uproot one tree then what good of a Barbarian are you if you can't show your strength?" Prove Goliath your power.

Prompt 9:
Today you were selected to help pass out flyers so Rex Bellum can recruit more faction members. During your pilgrimage, you over heard Goliath trying to sell the idea of joining to a pair of young kems. Goliath's strongest trait are literally his arms and brute strength, so it's safe to say that entrepreneurship isn't his strongest suit. "Pride, valor and victory! What else do you need?" Goliath was trying pitch his ideas to these kems but obviously they weren't buying it. Goliath started to look a little flustered, almost angry, as he was about to slam his paw to the ground which would definitely scare off the potential recruits. Interject and help your class master recruit these kems.

Prompt 10:
Goliath wanted to celebrate the recruitment of new members by taking a group of Barbarian Class members to a hibachi grill bbq. Among all the members Goliath was known to be the most rowdy, but some of the newer members were being a bit too rowdy. A neighboring table full of Guardian Class kematas started to scoff at you all. Yonghwa, the class master of the guardians, clicked his tongue and said, "How ostentatious…" Goliath was quick to react by flinging a piece of raw meat on Yonghwa's face (who hates getting dirty). Yonghwa's face turned redder than the meat that peeled down from his face. The entire group of Guardians stood up in Yonghwa's defense, with Yonghwa doing the same. "If you got something to say, hot stuff, speak in a language we can understand." Goliath sneered, getting up, flexing his dense muscles then stuffing his face with a giant pawful of bbq. He wiped the juices from face and stepped face to face to the other faction leader. All of their underlings followed suit, head to head, ready to defend their honor. Are you in?
