Before Khun met Shinsu, he was a different person. He had trusted someone before that had hurt him, turning him into a ruthless person. He didn't mind manipulating people if he had to, and he got quite good at it. Capable of making amazing plans quickly, he's a natural born strategist and leader that had the upbringing necessary to turn into a monster. However, once he met Shinsu things changed. He at first used Shinsu, interested in his magical abilities and wanting to befriend him to simply have a strong weapon.  Despite this, Shinsu didn't care at all, and was grateful to him. Although Shinsu probably had no idea, at the time. When Shinsu got taken away to Rex Bellum and was presumed dead, Khun pretended to believe it. Deep down, he knew Shinsu wasn't dead-- instead, he knew that this was just what he was supposed to believe. Sure enough, Shinsu came back to him alive one day, and Khun made a promise to himself that he would do whatever it took to get Shinsu where he wanted to be. Khun hides it, but he is extremely caring and careful. He would sacrifice him and risk his life to protect those he loves.
