Metacarcinus magister

A crab often consumed by kematas, can be prepared in any way imaginable, though, steamed might be the best way!
Often found in grassy river beds or Eelgrass ocean beds, this crab is a bottom dweller that will seldom venture on land. Eating particles from the bottom of watery homes.

Macrobrachium rosenbergii

A prawn considered more delectable than its fresh water brethren. The river prawn is often found hiding in small holes it burries with its claws, hoping to trap small fish to consume. Kematas like to eat the prawn and kits are often times found playing in small creeks or dried up rivers trying to pull the prawns from their homes.

Micropterus salmoides

The rat of the sea, at least they taste yummy if seasoned right! They can get pretty big if in the right body of water, sometimes weighing up to 20 pounds! And theyre not afraid to eat prey about 20% of their size, sometimes even turtles fall victim to these fish!!

Perca flavescens

A small fish used more in side dishes than main courses. The yellow perch is known for the unique way it spawns, laying eggs in ribbons along watery grass. These fish are best used as bait for large fish.

Anguilla rostrata

These eels can be quiet hard to catch as theyre very slippery! These eels secrete mucus when theyre scared or in a tight spot. Not the best eel on an eel roll but it can do if you're on a budget!

Carassius auratus

Not for eating! If you catch this fish you can put them in an aquarium but dont be fooled!!!! They need a filter and at least 30 gallons of water per goldfish! they can grow as big as a koi, never put a goldfish in a bowl or small aquarium!!!

Symphodus melops

A small fish that has limited colorful marks, unlike its relatives. It does not get very big and doesn't make much of a meal. But when it's grilled it can make a pretty good snack or treat for your familiars! Flibbs in particular love them!

Rana temporaria

A small, little, cute frog. It looks at you with its beady eyes.... suspicious.

Acanthuridae

A little colorful fish that come in a variety of colors and likes to hang around in tropical waters. Most don't recommend eating these due to the venom in their scalpel-like spines.

The skeletal remains of a small fish of unknown origin... maybe they'll uncover something special? Or.. maybe they're someone's scraps. Gross!

Amphiprioninae

A little fish that likes warm waters and can be commonly found around sheltered reefs. Can also be found in shallow areas of the sea.  Clownfish help protect and clean sea anemone, in turn, they get to call the poisonous plant their home. There's an old tale shared around in Port Tivali, speaks of one of such fish going by the name of Beebo that went on a grand adventure.

Wait a minute. What is this.. It's a boot! A rotten one in fact. Ew, how long has it been here? Best to discard it, you'll be lucky to get any value from this.

Myliobatoidei

A large fish found in the southern waters. They like to swim around with the turtles by Tortuga and are oftentimes found burrowed underneath the sand.  Despite their name, these gentle creatures have been only known to sting if disturbed or stepped on. So watch your step!

Ameiurus nebulosus

A fish most kems aren't happy to see. This species of catfish is considered invasive, it travels easily and can be found anywhere around the world, and is adaptable to fresh or saltwater. Many fishers are keen to throw this fish back which has allowed the species to thrive and destroy many water biomes. They eat anything from animal guts via fishing or small fish and bugs.

Mola mola

A rare fish found in the southern sea. It rarely comes by the shores, but whenever the sun hits its scales they glint back in a vibrant rainbow.

A big fish that likes to roam around in the southern sea. Just don't drop it.

Chelonioidea

Sea turtles are believed to be the far descendants of the grand turtle housing the city of Tirtouga in Greencoast. Only time can tell when a turtle uprising will happen.

Echinoidea

A spiky boi found under the southern sea. They're commonly found on the beach and are constanty stepped on by accident.

Oncorhynchus gorbuscha

This large and delicious fish will keep you fed for a week! They are the staple diet for many animals in Ereshka, of course, including kematas! Legend tells of a god blessing a salmon who lept above the tallest mountain while climbing a river, and blessed that salmon, transforming it into the dragon mounts we have today!
